Sphere Time is a family company. It all started back in 1946!
Henri Cassen started a wholesale watch and clock company in Antwerp, Belgium.
He imported watches from Switzerland and secured the distribution of alarm clock from Westclox (General Time Company in the UK and USA.)
These products were sold to jewellers in Belgium.
In 1948, he started a leather watchstrap factory to supply the jewellers for replacement straps and it became the largest one in Belgium.
It was eventually sold in 1978.
His sons continued the company and diversified the sales of watches by importing digital and analogue watches from the Far-East.
They expanded the sales territory by distributing largely in Luxemburg, Holland and France.
Those watches were sold under our house brands Corvair and Lynx.
During all those years, the company increased its expertise in designing and creation of personalised products.
As Sphere Time was making more and more OEM products, Yves Cassen decided to move the company in Luxemburg in 2000.
Luxemburg is very centrally and strategically located.
Our customers are now located in most West-European countries and USA, and thus Luxembourg is a perfect place from where we can serve them efficiently.
Yves Cassen was joined in the company by his son Olivier and his son in-law Sebastien Gabay.
Olivier Cassen opened Sphere Time Limited (UK) in 2021 to serve more closely our UK and USA based customers.
Our history makes that our current team completely masters all the watchmaking techniques enabling us to design and produce personalized watches, from basic styles up to exclusive high-class models.
